My practice is a combination of coaching to help leaders set their goals and consulting to help them executive the strategy to achieve the goals. My intent is to use my background and experiences to help a range of professionals in multiple industries.
About Dr. Brent Muckridge
An accomplished executive and entrepreneur bringing experience in international business and entrepreneurship to both professional and academic environments. As an academic, I am experienced in launching new academic majors and developing co-curricular programming to enhance and support the learning objectives as well as increase student engagement. I serve as a mentor and coach on campus and in the community. Served as a community liaison on the North Miami Chinatown project and other entrepreneurial organizations in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
As an entrepreneur, I have experience in launching new startups, being an intrapreneur, and being a board member for startups. My core strengths in startups are challenging the status quo, developing stronger business models, executing the strategic plan, and having strong operational and financial skills. As a board member, I provide governance, strategic direction, and operational support.
I am an accomplished senior leader in the telecommunication and technology industries, having held roles in finance, strategy, and operations. Successful both in startup and large corporate environments with a track record of reengineering and directing corporations to produce strong-bottom line results, optimizing capital, and driving process change across the organization. Managed teams both domestically and internationally bringing together a global perspective into leadership teams. I have experience in managing large-scale projects, infrastructure implementations, and company reorganization projects. My finance experience includes managing debt and equity funding, securing venture funding, and managing finance operations from startup to $1.0 billion-plus operations.
My experiences and skills are a great combination for my working with other executives, family business leaders, or entrepreneurs in their career, personal, or strategic needs. My focus is on helping others to navigate career transitions, succession planning, strategy planning, governance, and personal growth.
